Every piece carries a 6-month warranty on stitching and structure. If the fault is ours, we repair or exchange it and cover the shipping.

Atelier Standards: The Bench Craft
We cut, stitch and finish every piece by hand in our Saigon workshop. This is what that means for the piece you receive.
European leathers, small lots
Haas, Alran, Weinheimer, Perlinger, Pomari
Calfskin and goatskin from Haas and Alran in France, Weinheimer and Perlinger in Germany and Pomari in Italy; crocodile from Heng Long. We buy in small lots, so a colour cannot always be repeated exactly. When a hide runs out, we tell you.
Two-needle saddle stitching
By hand, with waxed linen thread
It is slower than a machine, and it does not come apart the way a machine seam does: if one stitch breaks, the rest of the seam holds.
Hand-burnished edges
Finished in several layers
Cut edges are burnished by hand, layer by layer, before a piece leaves the bench.
Made for heat and humidity
Stitched, not glued
Heat and sweat are what wear a strap out: glued seams peel and synthetic straps trap moisture and smell. Ours are stitched with no glued seams to peel, cut from real leather that breathes and dries faster than synthetic, and dyed with the colour fixed so it does not bleed onto your wrist. Wipe the inside dry after wearing.

Send reference photos, rough dimensions or a photo of your watch lugs. We reply with photos of pieces we have made, suggest a leather for your budget and give you an estimate; you do not need to commit to anything yet.

Drawing, quote and hide approval
1–3 days for a strap, 2–5 days for a wallet or bag
We agree the drawing or measurements, the leather and a written quote that includes the shipping cost to Singapore. Before cutting, we send you photos of the actual hide.

Watch straps take 7–14 working days of hand-stitching once sizing is set. Wallets and bags usually take 7–14 working days once the drawing is agreed. Bags with several compartments, mixed leathers, a custom mark or an exotic hide take longer, and we tell you the timing when the drawing is agreed.

Before a piece ships, we photograph it from every side and send you the photos to approve. You get the tracking number the day the parcel leaves; anything over $300 ships signed-for and insured for its full value.

Prices are set in Vietnamese dong; the USD figure is an approximate conversion at a rate we set by hand. Shipping and import duty are not included.

How is my order shipped to Singapore?▾
Finished pieces leave the atelier by DHL or FedEx with tracking end to end, and you get the tracking number the day the parcel leaves. We quote the shipping cost and a firm date before you pay. Anything over $300 ships signed-for and insured for its full value.
How do I pay from Singapore?▾
Orders shipping abroad are paid in full when you accept the written quote. Bank transfer is available today, and we send the account details with your quote. Card and PayPal payments are being set up and are not switched on yet.
Will I pay GST or import duty in Singapore?▾
We ship on DDU terms (Delivered Duty Unpaid): the shipping cost we quote covers carriage to your address and nothing else. Any GST, import duty or customs handling charged in Singapore is billed to you by the courier, usually before the parcel is handed over. We cannot mark a parcel as a gift or understate its value, so please check the current thresholds before you order.
Can I order a crocodile or alligator strap?▾
Yes, our crocodile comes from Heng Long. Crocodile, alligator and ostrich need a CITES export permit from Vietnam and import approval in Singapore, which adds two to four weeks. We do not ship these leathers abroad without the permit in hand, so allow for that in your timing.
What if something is wrong with my piece?▾
Every piece is made to order, so we do not take returns for a change of mind. If the fault is ours, we exchange or repair it and cover the shipping. Every piece carries a 6-month warranty on stitching and structure, such as loose seams, a cracked edge or hardware that fails through a fault in the making.
Can you stamp my initials or a logo?▾
Yes. Tell us the text or send the logo you want, and we agree the position and lettering with you before it is stamped. We also tell you honestly whether the leather you chose can hold a crisp stamp; very small letters lose detail on deep-grain leather.
